Sourcingflow is live: purchasing software for companies without a purchasing department

From request to receipt in one system, up and running in minutes, free to try for 30 days

EINDHOVEN, THE NETHERLANDS – Sourcingflow, purchasing software for small and medium-sized businesses, is available from today. The system follows every purchase request from first request to order, delivery and invoice check, so that companies without their own purchasing department stay in control of what they buy. No implementation project is needed: creating an account and submitting a first request takes a few minutes.

In many growing companies, purchasing runs on email, spreadsheets and ad hoc agreements. Nobody knows for certain what has been ordered, what is still waiting for approval and what is on its way. Setting up a purchasing department is often too big a step for a company with a few dozen employees, and so is an ERP project.

With Sourcingflow, anyone in the company submits a purchase request, which is approved under rules the company sets itself, with budget control per cost centre. The system shows which orders are still waiting for supplier confirmation, where a delivery date differs from the date requested, and whether an invoice matches what was ordered and received. Suppliers log in to their own portal to confirm orders, give delivery dates and submit quotes. The loose email traffic that has to be searched afterwards disappears.

“Many companies only find out what they have ordered when the invoice arrives,” says Jarno Baaijens, co-founder of Sourcingflow. “We have worked in purchasing for more than 25 years, from negotiating ourselves to changing how organisations buy. Sourcingflow gives a company without a buyer the same control, without a project to get there.”

Sourcingflow is intended for companies of roughly 2 to 75 employees in all sectors and grows with a company that later hires its own buyer. The price is €230 per month, or €2,400 per year paid in advance, for 1 to 5 users, excluding VAT. All features are included. The software is available in Dutch, English, German and French and is hosted in a data centre in Eindhoven, under Dutch and European law.

Sourcingflow is available from today at sourcingflow.com. New users can try it free for 30 days.
